This is the official blog for the University of Alaska Fairbanks Parking Advisory Committee. The purpose of the blog is to inform UAF faculty, staff, students and community members on committee work and to provide a mechanism for feedback and comments.
I like the fact that "ADA-accessible parking violation will increase from $120 to $250". This is always an area that needs better enforcement.
ReplyDeleteThe fact that staff have to pay for a permit to park half a mile away is complete BS. On top of that, what is even more BS is the fact that there is a $60 dollar penalty for parking in these areas without a decal! Not to mention its summer, quit robbing us UAF parking!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI understand that fees are charged, tickets written for violations, and somehow there has to be income to pay for these services. I can accept that. What I do not understand however, is why employees at the off-site Administrative Building on College have to pay for parking, at the same rate as on-campus employees but other off-campus sites do not have to pay for a parking permit. How is this equitable?
ReplyDeleteParking fees levied must be appropriate and reasonable.
ReplyDeleteParking fees are changed, but i do not understand why.Administration need to find out a solution of it.Few of private parking with affordable fees per day.One of the parking service of Parkright, which provides a Chauffeurs,Valet parking, wash services with affordable hourly fee plus gratuity charges in open 24/7 attendant, Video Monitoring System, Safe and Secure for Cars, trucks and vans in Barclays center. They also takes you to cinema, theater, doctor's, school to your children, shopping and many more with your convenience of your own vehicle.
